outside of CEER

CEER is a dedicated research unit of the Cockrell School of Engineering. It does not award degrees like an academic department. CEER research faculty recruit graduate and undergraduate students from their home departments to work on their degrees and participate in research at the center.

CEER researchers are organized into programs with a common research theme. Each research program is led by a program lead (head), who is usually a senior faculty member and usually has one or more additional faculty and senior research colleagues who collaborate with them and are the principal investigators on research projects. In addition to the student researchers, research programs also have full-time research staff to help in constructing and maintaining the millions of dollars of research facilities and equipment.

CEER research programs are listed in the panel on the left. We invite you to learn more about our programs and the research conducted at our center. Feel free to contact them about their research through their email address.
