The research activities at CEER range from measuring and modeling ambient air quality to chemical extraction and distillation processes and carbon management to building energy use and the environments inside buildings. We work closely industry, nonprofits and government agencies to ensure our research is relevant while addressing critical problems facing our economy and society. These research projects provide our students with the firsthand experience to work with companies and organizations immediately upon graduation. While our researchers produce dozens or peer-reviewed journal articles each year and reports to research sponsors, they are also share the results of their research with communities who may benefit from their research through public presentations and outreach to community organization and local government entities.
