Javad Mohammadi is an IEEE senior member and an assistant professor in Civil Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department (with the courtesy appointment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department) at The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include multi-agent optimization and machine learning in networked cyber-physical systems including smart grid-interactive buildings, energy networks, and electrified transportation systems. His research is supported by DOE, AFOSR, ARPA-E, NSF and other agencies and institutions. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016. He is the recipient of the AFOSR Young Investigator Award in 2023 and the Best Poster Presentation at INFORMS Security in 2024.
